The histogram statistics and analysis module is a histogram-based, which can intercept the color intervals on the red, green and blue channels respectively, and extract and display the pixels that meet the conditions on the entire image according to the logical relationship. An intuitive and effective method is given.
Now according to the software function interface, the introduction is as follows:
1. Click the "Histogram Statistics" button to get the histogram.
2. Using the mouse or the arrows on the keyboard, move the "slider" at the bottom of the dialog box to examine the distribution of image pixel values. Press Shift and move the slider to select a range on the red, green, and blue channels. In addition, in conjunction with the respective selection boxes of the red, green and blue channels, the interval can be selected separately.
3. By default, the operation relationship between the red, green and blue channels is "OR", that is, as long as the pixel on the source image is within the selected interval, the pixel will be selected. Click the channel "AND" selection box in the upper right corner of the dialog box, and set it as the "AND" operation relationship when it is ticked.
4. Under each channel selection box, the current pixel value or interval, the total number of points in the interval, and the percentage of these points to all pixels are displayed respectively.
5. How to display results
a) With background + information simplification:
On the original image, the extracted information is replaced with a color for quick verification.
b) No background + single information:
The extracted information is replaced with one color, and the other information is replaced with the background color to obtain a binary image, which is convenient for data filing and other applications.
c) No background + information extraction:
The extracted information pixels are displayed in the primary color, and the non-information pixels are displayed as the background color, and the effect is very clear.
Converting the above three methods can improve the analysis efficiency.

After selecting the pixel value or interval, click the test button, and the corresponding processing result can be seen on the screen. At the end of the experiment, press the process button to process the whole image.
